Hello!

I’m Crystal, a Product Designer based in Los Angeles, with an academic background in Sociology. After working for a few years in office administration, I discovered the world of UI/UX—a field I thought might be perfect for me.

I saw how I could leverage the skills I’ve mastered from my past experiences, and apply it to my creative passions. I’m greatly empathetic, solid at communicating, and attentive to detail. Most importantly, I’d be able to combine my understanding of social processes with my love for aesthetics and design, in order to solve problems in a way that’s molded to the human behind everything.

So to transition into the field, I completed a UI/UX bootcamp where I applied industry relevant methodologies such as research, wireframing, and prototyping, for both mobile and web products—my metamorphosis into a purpose-driven problem solver, with a keen, intuitive eye for design.
